Who's that?
My name is Genevieve Farbe. I'm originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. I grew up with my mom, dad, brother, and sister and spent many years of my childhood moving to new places! I went to NOCCA as a teen and UArts for college and am a graduate of HPI 2018. I'm a Capricorn with lots of fire and no water in my chart. I believe that plants can speak, I believe that humanity is good, I believe that humor is necessary.
ARTIST STATEMENT:
Genevieve is a creative and ecologically concerned queer who hopes to bring art to communities of people who aren’t artists. A strong fascination between the things we carry genetically and emotionally from our home, family and pasts, is a driving force for finding compassion through the art they makes. Through comedy and wearable art they make all of their work like a birth, wildly messy, gruesome, and beautiful.
